Mindful throwing (C)
Mindful Throwing is a clay-based therapeutic session that combines pottery wheel work with mindfulness and gentle reflective guidance.
Offered in my Burnaby studio as part of my counselling practice, these sessions use the repetitive movement of the pottery wheel and the tactile experience of clay to help regulate the nervous system, support emotional processing, and bring attention back to the body.
These sessions are slower and more inward than a typical pottery class and are designed for people who may benefit from a creative, embodied approach to therapy, including those experiencing anxiety, stress, or feeling stuck. No pottery experience is needed.
As part of Registered Therapeutic Counselling services, sessions may be eligible for extended health benefits depending on your insurance provider.
